Our story beings in 2011, when artist Hayley Wright, couldn't ignore her passion for thrifting vintage clothing any longer. Scrounging through some of Vancouver's grimiest (and loveliest!) thrift stores and junk cellars, she unearthed treasure after treasure. When her collection took over the entirety of her small 1-bedroom apartment, she knew it was finally time to open shop.
ReWilding Vintage Co. (formerly known as Lux Vintage) officially opened its doors that summer. We sell vintage frocks from 1920s all the way through the 1970s, specializing in dreamy 1950s dresses.
In summer of 2019, we overhauled our entire shop to update our mission: preserving and nurturing our environment, in the same way we preserve our dresses. We spend so much time and energy to unearth and salvage our vintage and antique finds, and now it is just as important to do the same with the world around us.
ReWilding Vintage Co. is dedicated to doing our part: 10% of every purchase is donated to WildNorth, a local wildlife rehabilitation centre. As well, all of our paper and packaging is entirely recyclable.
